He was an assistant of KANO Yasuhiro on Kiss x Death. In 2016 he participated in Shonen Jump's Golden Future Cup contest with the one-shot Nikai Bongai Barabarujura. He stated that he was influenced by TOGASHI Yoshihiro, KISHIMOTO Masashi, MURATA Yusuke and KUBO Tite. He also stated Jujutsu Kaisen takes influences from Shin Seiki Evangelion. YODA Mizuki was once an assistant on Jujutsu Kaisen.
