The name is actually a pseudonym for the three most important figures in the creation of the Digimon franchise: MAITA Aki, one of the two creators of the original Tamagotchi; IZAWA Hiroshi, the author of the first Digimon manga; and HONGO Takeichi, the director of marketing for Bandai. Original character designer of Digimon Adventure is WATANABE Kenji, chief designer of WiZ.
